A History of Integrity & Know-How
King’s Auto Repair has the expertise and equipment to service your vehicle, with four full-time ASE certified technicians working in a modern, six-bay facility.
Founded in the early 1960s by Wayne and Barbara King, the shop—still at the original location on Penn Avenue—has kept the vehicles of Berks County running for generations.
Tom and Ashley Dietrich now continue the tradition of fine service. You might know them from their radio show and podcast, “Idle Talk,” that keeps listeners up-to-date on the latest automotive trends. Or you might see them at events around town, supporting local causes.
The industry has changed a lot since the King's first set up shop. Cars are now computers on wheels. Yet many people are driving vehicles built ten or twenty years ago. Repair technicians need to know both the old systems and the new ones.
Fortunately, the expert team at King’s Auto Repair has wide-ranging background, experience, and official certification—and they’re constantly updating their know-how as new innovations enter the market. If you like fixing cars and working on high tech stuff drop us an email below. If you want to see what we offer our auto techs check out this google doc.
Electric? Hybrid? Foreign? Domestic? Emissions issues? Dashboard lights? Some sound it didn’t used to make? SUVs? Jeeps? Subarus? King’s Auto Repair has the expertise and equipment to service your vehicle.
And while you’re here, say hi to Tom and Ashley. Or Dan. Or Laura. Or . . .
