Hello Awesome Person,

Yes You!! You are awesome because you are you. My name is Tom Dietrich and I am the Owner of King’s Auto Repair in West Reading Pa. Yes there is an auto repair shop in West Reading right on Penn Avenue. I decided I wanted to write a Quarterly newsletter to help the motoring public. I plan to bring you some car care tips and tricks to keep you safe and your car reliable.

Let me tell you a little bit about me.

If you don’t know already, my wife Ashley and I host a radio show on Thursday nights at 6pm on 830 WEEU where we help the motoring public with their car troubles. We also bring the latest automotive news from the weird to the next big thing. We also broadcast live on Facebook during the show so the folks that don’t want to go on air with a question can ask it there. The broadcast is also repurposed as a podcast by the same name of the show Idle Talk Radio with Ashley and Tom.

You might be wondering by now who this Tom guy is and where did he come from? Well I started my automotive journey back in 1999 when my mother told me I had to go do something with my life. She suggested that I look at repairing cars because I like to tinker with vehicles. So we loaded up the car and went off to Williamsport to Pennsylvania College Of Technology to look at their automotive programs. We toured the automotive building and wound up at the Ford ASSET program. I was taken back by the shop and the technology in those cars. The instructor showed us how to control different functions in the car with a remote computer. I was hooked. I signed you and 2 years later I graduated with an Associates Degree in Automotive Technology. The awesome part about the classes I took was ½ of each semester I spent working at a Lincoln dealer and I was graded on the work I performed there. This allowed me to work with a master mechanic while I went to school.

For the first few years out of school I loved working on Lincolns. Then change started to happen. One day we found out we were going to become a Mazda dealership and it was back to school again. I learned to fix Mazdas and in a few years change happened again. This time it was off to fix diesel trucks. I repaired diesel trucks for 10 years. I was sitting on my lunch break one day when a friend of mine told me about an auto shop for sale. I was interested because it felt like it was time to move on.

My wife and I decided to purchase King’s Auto Repair and take the next leap in our life's journey. We have been the proud owners for 6 years now. Everyday we wake up and can not wait to help people with their problems. I can’t say it's been easy but nothing worthwhile doing ever is. We love what we do and Helping People is what we like to do.

I hope you look forward to our newsletter every quarter. We plan to bring you something informative, fun, tasty, and some savings.

The rules are pictures need to be posted to Instagram or Facebook and the Hashtags #kingsautorepair #KingsGreatPumpkin2021  need to be used. You can add any other Hashtags you like. Your pumpkin picture you submit needs to have a piece of paper with the hashtags on it visible in the photo to prove you did it. Both contests contained in this email operate at the discretion of King’s Auto Repair. They reserve the right to disqualify anyone claiming to be the owner of a photo when a Google photo search shows it is someone else’s work.
